WORKSHOP

The first annual RoboCup Junior workshop will be held on August 9, 2001. The purpose of the workshop is to encourage sharing of ideas and curriculum amongst RoboCup Junior community members. All Junior participants are invited to attend.

The morning session (9am-12noon) will consist of several invited speakers who will present their work in the area of educational robotics. Speakers include:

• Professor Jeff Johnson, Open University, UK, on the RoboFesta / Blue Peter contest
  
• Professor David Miller, University of Oklahoma, USA, on BotBall
  

The afternoon session (1pm-3pm) will be a poster session where all Junior participants (students and teachers) will show their robots and share a display describing their preparation for the tournament.
